Ammolite and Big Sur Jade Pendant
Bright ammolite has red and green flash that gets noticed from across the room. Nephrite jade chip was found free-diving just off the coast in Big Sur, California. The two stones combine with the fine silver rings to make a unique piece that has a story behind it.
Jade Statement Necklace
Jade from British Columbia set in fine silver. The jade semicircular stone has a beautiful green speckled appearance with translucence throughout. The fine silver saddle is attached to a curved tube through which a chain can be threaded. This allows the pendant to hang balanced. It makes a statement in its simplicity. Perfect for someone who appreciates minimalist and classic adornments that feature the beauty of the natural world.
Big Sur Jade Circles Pendant
Big Sur Jade piece, hung from a stack of fine silver rings. Somewhat reminiscent of bubbles, underwater where we find these pieces.

Gem grade nephrite jade from Big Sur hung below a hammered silver fish tail. Jade piece has a beautiful translucence. Jade piece found free-diving off the coast of Big Sur.
Labradorite and Big Sur Jade Pendant

Moonstone and Big Sur Jade Pendant
Lovely Big Sur jade chip hanging under a teardrop-shaped moonstone. Set in fine silver.
Big Sur Jade and Moonstone Pendant
Moonstone cabochon and Big Sur jade pebble mounted in fine silver. The moonstone I found at an old ramshackle rock shop on California Hwy 101 up North. The jade pebble was found free-diving off the coast of Big Sur. The two stones seem to complement each other well, and the moonstone has a nice blue flash that doesn't show too well in these photos.
Big Sur Jade and Ammolite Pendant
Amolite and big sur jade pendant. Amolite has amazing green and red flash that will catch the eye from across a room. Jade bar is balanced below in a simple bezel.
Australian Opal and Big Sur Jade pendant
Really nice colors flashing on this Australian opal. The heart shaped jade piece below is naturally formed that way, no carving. Jade found in Big Sur, California. Opal purchased from Sri Lankan dealer at gem show in Tucson.
Jade, Opal and Moonstone Pendant
Australian opal doublet has a nice blue flash, with a 6mm round moonstone set atop a sliver of nephrite jade from Big Sur, California. Comes with an 18 inch silver chain shown in separate photo.
Jade Path Pendant
Surprisingly lightweight and airy for being a medium sized pendant loaded with four rocks and silver barrels. This piece has great movement--the jade is suspended along a chain that creates a lot of visual action. The jade chips all were found at Jade Cove in Big Sur, California and exhibit a slight bluish tint that is sometimes found in jade from the region.
Strange little pendant, it looks like there's some machinery inside the tube. Mounted at the base is an amethyst, and there is a small 24k gold accent also. Perhaps the device once powered itself from the stones' energy but today it is merely a decorative piece, reminiscent of a time that has not been. Quite mysterious.
One of my suppliers found this piece. He said that it may be a machine for concentrating energy from crystals, but that the crystal had clearly been long since removed and some damage sustained to the talisman. There are no markings or other indications of where this piece is from or who made it. There is some type of mechanism inside, rusted. Lab testing reveals that the casing is made of fine silver, and there are small patches of 24k gold on the surface. The interior machinery consists of gold-filled silver and vanadium/tungsten alloys. After some experimentation, it appears this piece is too far damaged to repair back to it's original working state. There appears to be a critical integration between the machinery and crystal that we have been unable to activate. An ongoing mystery, this piece.
Labradorite and Aquamarine Silver Pendant
Beautiful labradorite and aquamarine pendant would be a nice addition to any jewelry collection!
Labradorite Chain Pendant
Geometric half-moon shape highlights a nice teardrop shaped labradorite stone. Recycled chain drops to accentuate the piece. Stone was purchased in a small shop off a back highway in Northern California. Pendant comes with both an 18" silver chain and waxed cotton cord.
Opal and Moonstone Pendant
Large oval moonstone with nice blue flash across entire face. Australian opal below. I found the moonstone at a small rock shop along Highway 101 in Northern California. The opal was a purchase from the Tucson Gem Show. The piece has a nice form to it with the opal dropping from the oval moonstone. Comes with 16" silver chain.
Twisted Silver and Gold Charm Pendant
Twisted wire silver pendant with 14 k gold accents. I had a short piece of eight gauge silver wire. Placed it in the vise to make this interesting twist pattern, with 14K gold wire wrapped around.
Lapis and Opal Art Nouveau Pendant
Fine silver, lapis lazuli and an Australian opal doublet complete this tribute to the Art Nouveau style. Has a brushed finish that has a nice matte luster to it.
Moonstone and Opal Pendant
Oval moonstone pendant has great blue flash, with three brilliant small opals set dangling below. Comes with 16" silver chain. The moonstone I found at a ramshackle gem shop on the side of Hwy. 101, about 4 hours North of San Francisco.
Ammolite Tusk Pendant
The ammolite in this pendant has a brilliant green and red flash, they are some of the most eye-catching stones I have worked with. Two silver tusks hold the ammolite in place for a unique piece that is brilliant outdoors in sunlight. Ammolite is an opal like organic gemstone found along the Eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America, and made from the fossilized shells of ammonite critters.
Upcycled Antique Opal and Silver Locket
The front half of an antique silver locket with a bezel-set blue Australian opal. The original locket had been broken for many years, sitting in a box of broken bits. The deep-blue opal fits well, not covering up too much of the original work. The hinge mechanism is still visible on the back side. 16" silver chain included with opal pendant purchase.
Australian Opal and Paua Turtle Pendant
This opal has a deep cobalt blue background with bright flecks of green, blue, pink and purple. The subtle tones and beauty of the opal go well with the unique carved Paua shell turtle that hangs below.
Opal and Silver Ribbon Pendant
Fine silver, flat wire pendant with an Australian opal set at the base. Looks like the ribbon pendants that are popular to represent causes, and could be gifted as such.
Labradorite and Opal Pendant
Opal and labradorite pendant. Labradorite has gorgeous purple and blue flash, and is highlighted by the two Australian opals set alongside.
Yellow Sapphire and Ammolite Pendant
A one-of-a-kind piece, this pendant highlights a 9.66 carat natural yellow sapphire. Two ammolite stones are mounted above and below the sapphire. The sapphire was purchased from a Sri Lankan dealer at the gem show in Tucson in 2019. Originally it was faceted, but the dealer had ground the face down to a smooth lozenge shape. I mounted it upside-down in the bezel, and it sticks out to catch any available light and grab attention from across the room. Bezels are surrounded with 24 carat gold and fine silver twisted wire. Comes with nice 18" silver chain.
Ammolite Magnifying Glass Pendant
This is a one-of-a-kind piece--a magnifying glass pendant with a hinged plate that holds a sparkling ammolite gemstone. The lens element was pulled from an old camera lens and will show you things up close or start fires. I wanted a piece of jewelry that had use as a survival tool, and so was born this aberration. Nobody else has one of these. Comes with nice 18" silver chain.

A small ammolite pendant in a simple setting to highlight the bright green and red flash from this gemstone. Comes with nice 18" silver chain shown in separate photo.
Gold and Silver Earrings
Light and with a brilliant shine, these earrings are made with a 26 gauge silver sheet, imprinted upon by a leaf skeleton. 22 Ct. gold is applied in thin sheets at medium temperatures directly onto the fine silver sheet. The gold application technique is an ancient Korean art called Keum Boo.
Silver and Gold Hoop Earrings
Silver and gold-filled hoop earrings. On the small side, with attention-getting gold dangles. We made these geometric little earrings from gold-filled wire and silver wire.
Opal Fish Tail Pendant
Interesting piece with some good form and flow to it. I like the balance created by having the opal set away from the fish tail. Both are nice by themselves and can stand alone, yet also seem to complement one another. Australian opal doublet with a deep, midnight blue and purple flash. Subdued but evoking that powerful mystery of the deep. Hangs really nicely on the neck. (I don't have a model and I'm not putting up photos of this on my hairy neck, sorry. It looks nice even on me though.)
